Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. Overview
SwiftDM is designed to be private by default. Your downloads, browsing history, bookmarks, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your personal data, and we do not sell, rent, or share your information — there is no information to share.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your computer:
- Download history, queue state, and settings such as categories, speed limits, and appearance.
- Browser bookmarks, browsing history, tab state, and site permissions for the built-in browser.
- Files you download, saved to the folders you choose.
This data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it, such as when you save a diagnostic report for troubleshooting. Diagnostic reports are generated with sensitive details such as URLs, file names, paths, and cookies removed.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
SwiftDM does not require an account, does not include advertising, and does not send us your downloads, browsing activity, or personal identifiers. We do not track you across websites.
4. Third-Party Websites
When you use the built-in browser or download from any website, those websites may collect data in accordance with their own privacy policies, and cookies may be stored by them in the browser session. We have no control over, and no access to, third-party data practices. Review the privacy policy of any website you interact with.
5. Children's Privacy
SwiftDM is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Security
Because your data stays on your device, its security depends on your device. We recommend securing your computer with a password and, where available, using the App's site-permission and history-clearing controls to manage stored data.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Your download history, bookmarks, and settings persist until you remove them using the App's controls, or until you uninstall the App. Uninstalling removes App data held on your device; downloaded files remain in the folders where you saved them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page with a new last-updated date.
